Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to every order. They are written to be read, so if anything is unclear, ask before you order.
Quotes
Quotes are sent by email and show the price, quantity, size, board, print and validity date. Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT unless the quote says otherwise.
Proofs
For printed boxes we send a free design proof. Your approval confirms the size, artwork, wording and colours. Please check it carefully: we make exactly what the approved proof shows.
Orders and Payment
An order is confirmed when you accept the quote, approve the proof and settle the invoice. Payment details are on the invoice. No payment is taken on this website.
Production and Delivery
Production takes 4 to 6 working days after proof approval. Delivery is free and tracked to UK mainland addresses, usually in 2 to 3 working days. Delivery dates are estimates; we keep you informed if anything changes.
Quantities
Made-to-order production can run slightly over or under the ordered quantity. Any difference is shown on the invoice so you pay only for what is delivered.
Problems With an Order
Misprints or damage reported within 10 days of delivery are reprinted or refunded. Boxes that match the approved proof cannot be returned for a change of mind.

Artwork
By sending artwork you tell us you are entitled to print it, including any logos, names or wording. We use your files only to produce your order.

Ordering and Price
When is my order confirmed?
When you accept the quote, approve the proof and settle the invoice.
Are prices fixed once quoted?
Yes, until the validity date printed on the quote.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices are quoted excluding VAT, with VAT shown as a separate line.
Can you refuse an order?
We may decline artwork we are not permitted to print, such as a logo you do not have the rights to use.
Delivery and Returns
Can I cancel an order?
Before production starts, yes. Once boxes are being made, cancellation depends on the stage reached.
What if the delivered quantity is slightly different?
Small overs or unders can happen with made-to-order work. You are invoiced for the quantity delivered.
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
They are firm estimates. If a delay looks likely we tell you straight away.
How do I raise a complaint?
Email info@buycardboardboxes.co.uk with the details and we reply within one working day.
